 Simply Education

EDUCATION starts from childhood. The very first education stage is called primary education and it begins as early as when the child is still a toddler and still sucks milk bottles. A toddler’s first day of school is one of the most influential days of his or her life and it is preferable that this milestone be witnessed by both of the child’s parents. Child psychologists say that a kid’s first day of school will greatly shape his or her attitude towards life and towards his or her peers and even towards one’s elders and subordinates later. Primary school educators must be given respect because they’re the ones who rear us during the most vulnerable moments of our lives. It is in the first day of primary school that kids are introduced to one another. Boys may wonder why they wear pants while their girl counterparts wear skirts, sport longer hair and don softer voices than their own. With all these, primary school educators must have a ready answer to children’s peculiar but normal curiosities. They themselves have received training on this during their four years in college. Also during the first day of school, some toddlers can easily mingle with others and ultimately talk to them about whatever topic their little minds have developed. But others will become shy and will eventually be bullied by their peers who are already extrovert. The teachers will then bring the children to attention and slowly integrate into the children’s minds the day’s curriculum. It is at this time that parents and guardians who are at a viewing room outside can determine whether their child is autistic.

Compulsory education doesn’t include day care education though. Day care education is more of being a nanny to a toddler but is incorporating some basic academic lessons to the child on a more personal basis. Day care education usually occurs at home and the child is slowly introduced through practical examples like the color of a leaf, the shape of a balloon, the number of marbles he has, etc.

In a more professional day care center or nursery school, teaching of kids is done in a more scientific manner. It is not just the brain of the kids that is intended to be developed. Physical, aesthetic and social development of the child is equally given emphases as well. In the physical aspect, the child is requested to interact with his or her seatmates for instance and involve them in some exercises. They may do some running and chasing ball and stuff. In the aesthetic aspect, the child is given the chance to do singing, dancing, painting, crocheting, playing the piano and similar activities that he has excellent potential. In the social development, the child is encouraged to play with anybody from the class and not just his or her seat mates.

But the educators can only do as much. Development of the neurons of the precarious child is largely dependent on the home where he or she is raised. If the kid receives proper nutrition, his or her cognitive development will definitely be robust.
